UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF DOG LEARNING

Life Skills & Manners

Awesome for all ages of dogs, these plans are designed to help you understand the basics of dog learning, our C/RCT™ methods, and marker training in order to teach your companion good manners.

"Please... Just don't knock our guests over!"

Our approach is a little different. In addition to traditional cue training where you ask you dog to do something and they perform a behavior, we teach you something we call Choice / Response Communication Training™. We work on teaching the dog a collection of preferred behaviors and then we give them a choice as to want they want to do in order to get attention or earn a resource. We then instruct you around how to observe and respond to your dog so the behaviors you like happen more while the unwanted behaviors go away. Wouldn’t you love your dog to rest at your feet for attention instead of barking, jumping, or whining? Or maybe settle on mat while guests enter your home? Yeah, we thought you might.

Awesome for all ages of dogs, these plans are designed to help you understand the basics of dog learning, our C/RCT™ methods, and marker training in order to teach your companion good manners. In addition to the basics of sit, down, stay, and come, we also work on walking nicely, greeting manners, four on the floor, patiently waiting for their food, and staying in a designated spot during human meal time.

These packages are designed to address manners and skills and do not include emotional-based behavioral issues. Feel free to read about our behavior change program and process.

The following prices are for the single dog home. (Not all skills will be able to be addressed in a one-hour session or 3-session package.)

If you have a dog within 30 days of being adopted, please let us know when you fill out the New Client Profile and we can possibly put you into our sister program with UnShelter Me.
